After having Easter weekend off, we were happy to get back to work with Chris and Sara’s wedding. Â They made the long journey from Southern California to get married on the beautiful beaches of Florida. Â They chose the Grand Plaza Hotel in St. Pete, which is probably one of the busiest hotel venues for weddings in the Bay area. We have a bunch of upcoming weddings there, but this was our first time there, so we were very excited.
About two minutes after meeting this couple, you can’t help but to really like them. They just have that kind of personality. Â They were so much fun to be around, and the day flew by! One of the worst things about our job is that you meet these great people, but then you shoot their wedding and often times you don’t see them again. One of the biggest honors and things we look most forward to is when we get to do a family shoot for them a year or so later:)
We were blessed with some great weather, and we got a really nice sunset. Â We had some rain earlier in the week, so I was really hoping it would all go away, which thankfully it did. Coming from Southern California where it never rains (seriously, there’s even a song about it, lol), it would be pretty sad the weather not cooperated. They ended up with perfect weather and a perfect day. Congratulations Sara and Chris!!!!
