Shana and Doug were married at the Tampa Marriott Waterside, which is a beautiful hotel located near the Convention Center. I absolutely love that part of Tampa, and if I was much richer it would be where I would be living. The hotel provides a lot of great indoor photo spots, which are great with Tampa’s unpredictable weather.
The couple chose to do a first look before the ceremony, which allowed them to get most of their pictures out of the way so that they could enjoy cocktail hour. We did the first look in the lobby, and we were fortunate enough to have privacy for the love birds. After the first look, we walked around the property and got some great shots, just barely avoiding an afternoon shower.
They held their ceremony indoors, which was fantastic as it was about 125 degrees outside, lol. I’m sure the guests appreciated it as well. After the ceremony and cocktail hour, they moved onto the reception. They had a couple great speeches by the Best Man and Maid of Honor, as well as a beautiful first dance and family dance.
