We were so honored to be a part of a super sweet couple’s wedding at the Cathedral of St. Jude in St. Pete.  Both Julie and Daniel are both only children, so there is no doubt their wedding was extra special to their parents. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the chapel was how bright it was. A lot of times as a photographer in a church you are struggling to have enough light, especially since many churches don’t allow us to use our flash. However, this church had no such problem, as there was plenty of light.
The couple chose to do 99% of their photos indoors, as it was an EXTREMELY hot June day. I’m not going to lie, I had no issue with this, lol. Â This Florida heat is still kicking our butt, but I’d like to think we are getting used to it:) Â Then again, I really don’t think you can ever get fully used to it.
They held their reception at the Club at Treasure Island. This was our first time there, but we made a return trip the following week (check back for Ashley and Bill’s wedding soon). After their grand entrance, they went straight into their first dance, which is what we usually recommend. Â I prefer it at that point because you have everyone’s attention. People tend to wander away if you have it after dinner.
