People like Ashley and Bill are why we love our job. We are so lucky to get to be a small part of one of the most important days of a couple’s life. Their fantastic wedding ceremony took place at St. Jerome Church in Largo. Although they chose not to see each other before the wedding, they chose to take pictures on opposite sides of a door.  This has become more and more common as of late, and it’s become one of my favorite shots to capture.
After their traditional Catholic ceremony, the couple and bridal party headed to Ashley’s home, where Bill will be moving in. In a really cute gesture, Bill threw the old door mat with Ashley’s initial of her last name, and replaced it with a “H” for their new last name. After that, he carried his new bride over the threshold.
This was our second time in consecutive weeks at this location.  On the way to the reception, we stopped at a bridge and took some great shots of the couple. Thankfully we were able to get a little wind to take advantage of Ashley’s long veil.  From there we went to the reception venue, the Club at Treasure Island. This was our second week in a row at this location, so there was no way we were going to get lost:)
