No, we did not recycle a blog post from October. This is a new Sarah and Dustin, lol. However, since we don’t file or even think of our customers by last name, it was a little confusing at times:) We like to think of our couples as friends, so we always think of them by first names.
The couple got married at Sunset Grill at Little Harbor. We got a very cool day, especially for April. However, the biggest challenge was the wind. Probably the hardest shots to take are large group shots with the wind swirling around like crazy. It’s next to impossible to get a shot without hair in anyone’s face. We did, however, get a really cool shot as a result of the wind. After the ceremony, we took the couple on the pier. As we were setting up, Sarah’s dress flew up in the air like a parachute. It ended up looking really cool, and she LOVED the shot! It now sits as her Instagram profile picture, lol.
The wedding continued very smoothly, as everyone was relaxed and having a great time. They ended the night with a sparkler exit, which is really fun to shoot. I still haven’t mastered the art of not getting burned, but one day I will achieve this feat.
