After several weeks in Hawaii, I finally came back home and went straight to work. Â First up was an engagement shoot with Jillian and Marcus. Jillian is actually a teacher at my daughter’s elementary school, which is an absolutely wonderful school and the biggest reason why we moved into the New Tampa area. Â It was funny because several months ago Kylie asked me for some business cards to give to her teacher who was getting married, but she apparently forgot! Â Kylie won’t be in charge of our business anytime soon, lol. Â Anyway, we were lucky enough that Jillian (I still feel like I should call her Ms. Henderson) found us on her own, and we are thrilled to be a part of her wedding day (and Marcus is pretty cool too, except for being a Jets fan).
Obviously our main concern was the weather going into the shoot. Â Tampa summers are unpredictable to say the least. Although it was quite humid, it wasn’t as hot as it could have been, and most importantly it didn’t rain. Â Since the University of Tampa doesn’t get a sunset, we drove over to the convention center to try and get a couple semi-sunset type shots.
Here are a few of my favorite images from the day. Â We can’t wait for the big day in November!
