Leap into spring with fresh photos from Head over Heels Photography.  This is the perfect opportunity to get those upcoming graduation photos done, update the family album, or simply just to put a professional touch on  web photos that are currently outdated.

Each photography session lasts approximately 30 minutes and we provide a copyright release so you can have your photos printed at any place of your choosing.

We spent three days in wonderful Panama City, Florida earlier this year. It rained for two days, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying our time there. The seafood was incredible. We also noticed that the sand on the Florida beaches is very different from Hawaii’s, with a texture that is almost like sugar.

On our third day, the weather cleared up and we were able to take advantage of the beautiful light for our photos with the Dieterle family. David and Cassandra were cheerleaders in college and, now, their kids, Grace and Brooklyn, are following in their parents’ footsteps. Cassandra is also an extremely talented photographer in Marietta, Georgia. The children were very easy subjects and we had fun working with all of them. Our shoot ended with a beautiful sunset.

We visited Indian Rocks Beach, Florida for this lovely photo shoot at a baseball park and beach with the Ruger family. Little Ty loves baseball and came to the photo shoot with a complete set of bats, gloves and balls. He’s pretty good at it, too, at the age of three! We enjoyed our time with them and even though the temperature dipped really quickly at the beach, we all toughed it out and came out with some great photos of a beautiful family.

The Ching Family Photo Shoot was held at one of our most best kept secret locations at the Shoreline Park in Ewa Beach. It has turned into one of our favorite parks in Hawaii that nobody knows about.

Stumbled across it one day while out on one of my fishing adventures and thought to myself ‘This would be the perfect location to bring The Ching Family’.  Although the day I found the perfect spot I didn’t catch any fish, I did catch the perfect shot.

And that’s what we did! It’s in the middle of a residential neighborhood but it’s a beautiful spots with lots of variation and space for the kids to run around and be themselves.  The young children enjoyed playing in the tall grass so much it was difficult to keep up with them, but easy to capture their smiles.

The beautiful Ena family photos were shot within a mile of the world renowned Ko’olina Resort in Waianae, HI.  We rode around on a golf cart getting from location to location and the Ena children were more excited about the cart ride than the photos!

Dad (Patrick) played football for Oregon State,  having the family wear orange is his way of sharing his allegiance and respect for the team.

Adventure is all a part of the process with Head Over Heels- we had to avoid golfers at one location, as well as trains at another.

The best adventure was catching such a beautiful sunset to capture these precious family moments.
